Building Stories 2023: A Storytelling Project about Glasgow’s Derelict Buildings

12-17 September 2023

1307 Argyle Street, G3 8TL Glasgow

Storytelling is important to understanding architecture and our city; it provides an informal discourse between the past, present and future of the built environment we live in.

For this year's Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival, New Glasgow Society presents the second edition of ‘Building Stories’; a storytelling project about Glasgow’s derelict buildings’. Through this project we hope to raise awareness of the perilous state of our historic architecture and start a conversation about preserving and improving our built environment.

Many thanks to this year’s contributors to Building Stories - Gerry Stewart, Dominyka Sekonaite, and Stephen Riley.
