Exhibit With Us

The Society runs a well-located community space with a prominent shopfront in Finnieston. Available for hire for exhibitions, workshops, talks, and events at corporate and community rates. A two-day period is the minimum duration for which NGS normally hire the venues, though exceptions can occasionally be made due to special circumstances.

Pricing

  • For use by professional bodies and commercial shows (e.g. architects’ community consultation).

  • For use by students or community organisations and non-commercial shows.

Note: Utilities (electricity) used may be charged in addition to the hire fee. The exhibitor is wholly responsible for invigilation staff and security, and the return of the space to its original state and condition. If the space is deemed to be left in an unsatisfactory condition after the hire, the Society holds the right to request any additional fee incurred by any work necessary to return the venues to their original state and condition.

Spatial Plans & Elevations

The legal maximum capacity of the NGS Community Space is 50 persons. If only the front area is available for a standing audience, the maximum capacity is 30 persons.

Please visit our Instagram page for the community space photos taken by others. We do not hold viewing session but you are more than welcome to visit whenever the space is in use.

Hire of the space is restricted only to the ground floor. NGS reserves the right to refuse any request for use of the space.

Submitting A Booking Request

Before you submit a booking request:

  • Please check Google Calendar on this page for venue availability. You can only choose a set of dates with no listed event(s). NGS’s Community Space admin team will reject booking requests should the dates submitted clash with another listed events.

  • It is compulsory to ensure that sufficient day(s) is included for install and de-install, where necessary.

  • We would advise to submit your booking request at least ONE MONTH before your desired dates.

  • Once the booking request is submitted, you will receive an automated notification from the Google Form. This is not a booking confirmation.

  • NGS’s Community Space Admin team will get in touch in due course to advise if the booking request has been processed and evaluated. Please note that the Community Space Admin Team are all volunteers, hence it might take a while to evaluate booking requests.

  • The booking request is considered confirmed ONLY when the invoice has been issued to you, and the payment of fees settled.

All fees collected are used to support the running costs of the community space and the charity.
