Opening Night – 8th November (18:00 – 21:00)
9th and 10th November (11:00 – 16:00)
We are four artists exploring the very act of observing.
As observers we aim to investigate and discover a new way of interpreting the every day.
Examining ‘place’ and the people that inhabit our surroundings drives our work and the way we look at situations in front of us.
Our seclusion within a space heightens the senses when experiencing our surroundings. Our approaches of perceiving carry a common thread in the phenomena ‘place’ within the work.
This enhances our relationships between one another as makers, where conversation between the work forms.
The inactivity within the spaces seen in the work show an isolation of objects and people, reflecting the quietness, the openness and the vulnerability a heart holds when in withdrawal.
The Hawk is the natural observer, the eyes to the tender indifferences of the world.
