Event Details

ARCHETYPES is a body of work that rethinks the conventional methods of architectural representation. Through posters, collages and graphics, the collated work offers insight into a contemporary post-digital dialogue developed in Glasgow. The presented linking of art-architecture-graphics is displayed through use of colour, digitisation and constant references to classicism and the primordial; hence cultural ARCHETYPES.

From architectural projects, to abstract and conceptual graphics alongside collage-film; this show presents the uncomfortable edge of abstractly representing design, alternative worlds, histories and allegories.

Athanasios Christos Paparis graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2019 and has been working as a Part II architect at Collective Architecture since.
