Photography by Margaret J Campbell ARPS

My photography started at age 10, with a Box Brownie camera, recording family holidays. Later I used my father’s old prewar cameras and my Halina camera with print film and slides. I then bought a SLR film camera and eventually a digital camera.

I discovered that with a computer and Photoshop, I could take my photography a stage farther by ‘painting’ with the images and then printing them myself. As well as my Glasgow images, I enjoy photographing landscape scenes and flowers in my garden. I use the flower photos to make photo-cards and also fine-art prints on archival matte paper.

I am a member of Milngavie and Bearsden Camera Club, the Scottish Photographic Circle and the Royal Photographic Society.

New Glasgow Society, 22-29th June, 10am-4pm each day.

This exhibition was rescheduled from earlier in the year.
